Q. Is receiving faxes (Fax2Email) really free ? Will it stay a FREE service ?
A. If you choose a FaxMail Solution's number (08660xxxxx) you don't pay a cent. NO SETUP, NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This service will remain FREE and there is no limit to the number and size of faxes received.
Q. If this is free how can you provide me with a sustainable service ?
A. FaxMail Solutions earns revenue through a rebate system from Telkom for calls made to the allocated numbers. This revenue is sufficient for FaxMail Solutions to support this fax reception service at no charge to the end user, yet still delivering a corporate level service.
Q. Is sending faxes via email also free ?
A. Print2Fax will be available soon - unfortunatly it's NOT FREE. For this service you need to purchase credits. Login, and follow the procedure.
Q. Can my number receive calls from anywhere ?
A. No for 08660xxxxx numbers. Calls can only be received from South African telecommunications networks. NO INTERNATIONAL CALLS.
Q. If I take a 08660xxxxx number and don't use it will it remain available ?
A. No. We reserve the right to reclaim a number if there has been no usage for 60-days. You will receive a warning email prior to the number being reclaimed. As long as you receive at least one fax every 60-days the number will remain yours.
Q. Do I need to install any special software ?
A. No. The FAX is sent to you as a TIF image, PDF or PS attached to an email. Most operating systems have a default viewer application installed. However if that doesn't work for you, click here to download a FREE TIF Image viewer.
Q. How long do I have to wait for a number ?
A. There's no delay. The moment you complete the sign-up process the number is allocated and activated, ready to take faxes and send them to your email.
Q. I can't open or view my faxes
A. If you are receiving faxes in PDF format you need to have Acrobat Reader installed to view PDF’s

Q. Can i receive international faxes on my number?
A 0866 numbers are only routable within the Borders of South Africa - a constraint by Telkom.
011 numbers are R66-00 per month. It entitles you to receive 100 international fax minutes free a month. Thereafter 66 cents per fax minute. However you may not use it for local faxes, if the 011 number is used we will charge it out at R1-00 per fax minute.
Q. How to activate FaxOut?
A. You need to activate FaxOut on your account PC
If you would like to send faxes from you PC, please click here and login with your account details.
Click on the FaxOut icon and complete the 5 easy steps.
When this is setup and ready you can fax to other 08660/6 for free using FaxOut.

Q. How can i buy more FaxOut credits?
A. Once you are logged in on your account click on “Buy More credits ”
Q. How to change my password?
A. All you need to do is login on your account www.faxfx.net/fxadmin/ with your username
and password as per the welcome email. Once logged in on your account, please click on "My Details" and simply edit your username and password and click on the save icon on the top right hand corner of the page.
